In this guide, I will show you how to reset the Cleaning Web Counter step by step using the service mode.

What is the Cleaning Web?
The fusing cleaning web is a special cleaning cloth inside the fusing unit that removes toner residue from the fusing roller.
Over time, the machine tracks the used area of this web and eventually displays a maintenance warning when it reaches its limit.
After replacing the cleaning web, the counter must be reset so the copier can continue operating normally.
How to Reset Cleaning Web Counter
Follow these steps carefully:
Step 1 – Enter Service Mode
Press the following keys on the control panel:
Yellow Button → 107 → C
This will open the Service Mode menu.
Step 2 – Open System SP
Tap System SP from the menu.
Step 3 – Select Feed
Navigate to the Feed section.
Step 4 – Enter the Service Code
Enter the code:
1902 – Fusing Web Motor Control
Step 5 – Open Used Area Display
Select:
1 – Fusing Web Used Area Display/SP
Step 6 – Reset the Counter
Enter:
0 → #
This will reset the Cleaning Web counter.
Important Note
Always reset the counter only after replacing the cleaning web. Resetting the counter without replacing the web may lead to poor cleaning of the fusing roller and print quality issues.
